Packyard's near-term climate targets have been SBTi-validated!
Welcome to our yard - we keep it green
At Packyard, we don’t just talk about sustainability; we take concrete action. The proof: our near-term climate targets have been officially validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
The SBTi is a global organization that enables businesses to set emissions reduction targets in line with the Paris Agreement, which aims to limit global warming to 1.5°C. The validation of our targets means that our plans to reduce emissions are science-based and can create real impact for the world of tomorrow.
Our validated targets:
🔥 50% reduction in scope 1 and scope 2 emissions by 2030 (from a 2024 base year): we are halving the direct impact of our own operations and energy consumption.
📦 17.31% reduction in scope 3 emissions by 2030 (from a 2024 base year): we are diving deep into our value chain to tackle emissions together with our partners.
You can view our status and targets on the SBTi website.
Validation by the SBTi is a crucial step in the right direction for us. We are proud of the team that made this happen and grateful to all the partners joining us on this journey!
