2015

The glassine backing used for our labels is collected at our Dutch facility and recycled to make new paper.

2018

Packyard welcomes new neighbours with the introduction of outdoor beehives.

2021

We introduce solar panels and charging stations for electric vehicles. We also work every day to reduce our overall energy consumption. In 2021, our consumption fell by over 8%.

2022

Packyard is a pioneer in the production of cold-washable labels. Not only does this increase the recycling rate, but it also reduces the amount of energy used in the process.

2023

Packyard receives the ‘EcoVadis Silver’ award.

2024

Focus on our waste management policy: the amount of residual waste has been reduced to an impressive 4% of our total waste stream. For the remaining 96%, we have found sustainable solutions in recycling and valorization.

2025

In 2025, Packyard takes a significant step: we are officially committing to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). This means that we are aligning our climate targets with the latest scientific insights to limit global warming. We are committed to establishing concrete short-term targets (for the next 5 to 10 years) to reduce emissions throughout our entire value chain, in line with the 1.5°C scenario of the Paris Agreement.
